Samuel Teshale

Samuel Teshale Derbe obtained his PhD from the University of Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Dr. Derbe served as legal advisor for Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD) and the African Union (AU) in Kenya, South Sudan, Republic of Sudan, Ethiopia and Ghana. Dr. Derbe’s legal practice extends to both commercial and non-profit Law. He has counseled foreign investment firms on shareholders’ agreements, agency contracts, property purchase contract, securities registration, company guarantees, and labor law. Some of his clients included: Salini Costruttori, Oracle Systems, Cisco Systems, Inc., and Medtech Ethiopia, and Kingdom (Linen) PLC.Dr. Derbe also worked as head of NGOs and Churches department in Tadesse Kiros Law Firm, Ethiopia. Some of the NGOs and churches he represented include: Buckner International (USA),Menschen Für Menschen (Germany),Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints (USA),Family Search International USA), Operation Smile (Ethiopia).

Yitagessu Nigussie

Yitagessu received his LL.B from Bahir Dar University and his LL.M in business law from Addis Ababa University. He started his legal practice as a public prosecutor. He then joined Emergency Relief Transport Enterprise as an Insurance Lawyer. In addition to providing legal services on business law matters, Yitagessu also facilitates administrative, taxation, and licensing processes at Ethiopian Investment Commission, Ministry of Revenue, Ministry of Trade and Industry, Land Administration and other relevant government offices. He has also considerable experience and expertise on Ethiopian Labor Law as he has represented numerous clients in labor litigations and negotiations.
